What is it?

The City of Pittsburgh (“the City”) Office of the City Clerk is seeking proposals for restoring and conserving several aspects of the City Council Chambers, a historic room where the citizens of Pittsburgh interact with their representatives in City Council. Canvases that decorate the walls of the Chambers and act as a sound buffer have been damaged over the years, specifically where modern lighting and cable equipment has been installed. Other areas that should be restored are the painted plaques that commemorate City Mayors on the ceiling and the walls, which have been inconsistently designed and applied.
