What is it?

The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management and Budget on behalf of the Department of Public Works invites you to submit a proposal for Thermoplastic Marking System. The City of Pittsburgh has secured funding to implement a durable pavement marking program. A durable pavement marking program will help to reduce maintenance time while increasing the presence of markings on the street. This will provide more explicit communication to all road users. The purpose of this RFP is to procure equipment that installs thermoplastic pavement markings, as well as train staff on its proper use.
